As reported by Gizmochina via a recent blog post, Logitech G has officially launched the Logitech G304 X Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse. Currently released in China, this new model is a direct, high-performance upgrade to the legendary G304 and G305 series that gamers have loved for years.
While the G304 X maintains the iconic egg-shaped shell of its predecessors, it introduces massive internal upgrades in weight, battery technology, and tracking precision.
Lightweight Design: Only 57 Grams
The most impressive feature of the G304 X is its weight reduction. By swapping the traditional AA battery for a built-in 290mAh lithium battery, Logitech has brought the weight down to approximately 57 grams.
Logitech also redesigned the internal structure to create a centered balance. This center-of-gravity optimization ensures better stability and control, making it a top-tier choice for competitive, fast-paced gaming.
Pro-Grade Hero 25K Sensor
Performance is handled by the flagship Hero 25K optical sensor. Out of the box, it offers a tracking range from 100 to 25,000 DPI. However, Logitech has confirmed that a future Logitech G Hub software update will push this limit to 25,600 DPI.

Connectivity and Battery Life
The G304 X supports dual-mode connectivity. You can use the updated Lightspeed 2.4GHz wireless technology for lag-free gaming or switch to wired mode via USB-C. The new Lightspeed version is specifically designed to resist interference in crowded wireless environments.
Despite its ultralight build, the battery delivers up to 106 hours of wireless use. It also supports fast charging: a quick 10-minute charge provides 11 hours of gameplay.

The mouse features primary switches rated for 20 million clicks and high-quality PTFE feet for a smooth glide. Through the G Hub software, users can store up to five onboard profiles, making it easy to carry your settings anywhere.
